The Promised One

Originally I painted this impressionistic watercolor a few weeks before Christmas 2007 and made Christmas card prints of it to give to friends. With Christmas just around the corner, I thought that this card would make a nice gift for a friend.

Yes, the Promised One came to this earth as a tiny baby over two thousand years ago.  "And His name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The Mighty God, The Everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace." Isaiah 9:6

He fulfilled the work God gave Him to do when He died on the cross for your sins.  Then He sent the Holy Spirit to be with you and in you forever so that you could come to know Him personally, and share His amazing love and grace with others.♥
